Little Maddie {Northern Michigan Toddler Photographer}

Had a mini shoot the other day with my best friend Shannon, and her daughter Maddie. Mad wasn’t too into it… she wanted more to do with her goldfish crackers than me…hehehe… but we got a few fun shots! Thanks for coming out girls! Can’t wait to do some more family shots soon!

Jessica… Senior shoot! {Northern Michigan Senior Photographer}

I had the opportunity to shoot some senior pics for this beautiful girl. I actually used to work with her mom a few years back, and couldn’t believe how different she looks now! (Not to mention I remembered a 12 yr old… now she’s all grown up!!!) Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

Fall….{Northern Michigan Children’s Photographer}

Well, Fall seems to be disappearing fast here in Northern Michigan. It’s getting colder and colder and the leaves are falling off of the trees. I can’t believe how close we are to November! Time just flies by!!
Yesterday I took the kids out to try to get some shots of them before all the pretty leaves are gone. Didn’t go as well as planned….lol. Emma was more interested in digging in the dirt…figures! So anyway…here are a few shots out of the 30 or so I took…lol. Enjoy!

About Me

Growing up I had a great appreciation for photos. My Dad never went anywhere without his camera. Proof of this are the five "baby" albums filled to the brim with snapshots, studio shots and beautiful black and whites, that he developed in his own personal darkroom... located in our basement.

When I started college I knew that I had to take a photography class. I started my own journey into photography in my black and white film class with nothing more than a few rolls of film and a twenty year old Olympus camera.

Fast forward a bit and I'm still doing what I love. Yes, the equipment has changed a bit, but the passion and drive is still there! I love to create and capture memories for my clients as well as those for my family.

I'm lucky enough to get to be a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to four awesome kids.
