Sophie {Northern Michigan Baby Photographer}

I had a session with little Miss Sophie before I left on vacation. She is getting so big, and was such a sweetie for her session. She was the perfect little model for her 6 month “photoshoot”. :) I can’t wait to see her again in 3 mos!

It’s been a while…. {Northern Michigan Vacation Photographer}

Well, it’s been a while since my last blog post, but with good reason! :) Our family went on vacation and just arrived home yesterday. We had a blast visiting with my brother in Florida and exploring the area he lives in. We took a slight detour on the way home as well, and visited the Georgia Aquarium. We all loved it and it was a nice break from the driving we had to do. It was a wonderful little vacation, and we feel very thankful we were able to do it this year. I think we stayed away a bit too long though… the kids almost  forgot we lived here, and were a bit confused when we got home….hehehe. :) Anyway, here are a few pics from the trip! Enjoy!!

                 This shot cracks me up…. I have a shot of myself at her age with the exact same expression on my face! LOL! :)
                                             These jellyfish were SO neat!

                                        Visiting Uncle Adam at work. :)

Busy summer!

We’ve been busy here the past few weeks… the kids had Vacation Bible School for the first week of June, and the rest of the time has been spent getting our house organized and cleaned! (The kids love that one…lol) We’re heading out of town for a little vacation soon…. but there will be plenty to come when we get back!!! In the meantime, here are some shots of the munchkins to tide you over!!!

About Me

Growing up I had a great appreciation for photos. My Dad never went anywhere without his camera. Proof of this are the five "baby" albums filled to the brim with snapshots, studio shots and beautiful black and whites, that he developed in his own personal darkroom... located in our basement.

When I started college I knew that I had to take a photography class. I started my own journey into photography in my black and white film class with nothing more than a few rolls of film and a twenty year old Olympus camera.

Fast forward a bit and I'm still doing what I love. Yes, the equipment has changed a bit, but the passion and drive is still there! I love to create and capture memories for my clients as well as those for my family.

I'm lucky enough to get to be a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to four awesome kids.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to get to know me and for allowing me to help make your family's memories last a lifetime!
