Thomas- Part 1 {Northern Michigan Children’s Photographer}

Meet *almost* 3 yr old Thomas. I have been taking pictures of this little sweetie since he was 2 wks old, and have enjoyed watching him grow up. His Mom & Dad brought him over for a little mini session to get some cute shots of him for his birthday. We still have to tackle the studio shots, but I’m sure it will be a breeze and we’ll have lots of fun. :) Enjoy your sneak peek!

Shannon {Northern Michigan Maternity Photographer}

I got the awesome job of photographing my beautiful friend, Shannon the other day. She is due with her second baby (and first boy!) In just a couple weeks, so we were excited to get a chance to do these shots finally! :) She rocked the session, ( even though I made  asked her to be a little brave and go along with all of my ideas) and we had a lot of fun during it! :) Can’t wait to meet little Cole! He’s going to be spoiled rotten by the time I’m done with him…hehe. :)

New. {Northern Michigan Children’s Photographer}

Well, I have (hopefully) gotten my blog up and running. Woo hoo!! :) It’s definitely a work in progress, but I’m already enjoying exploring all of the fun options available for it. I have also decided to do a featured recipe every Friday, so stay tuned. It’s gonna be a lot of fun….

About Me

Growing up I had a great appreciation for photos. My Dad never went anywhere without his camera. Proof of this are the five "baby" albums filled to the brim with snapshots, studio shots and beautiful black and whites, that he developed in his own personal darkroom... located in our basement.

When I started college I knew that I had to take a photography class. I started my own journey into photography in my black and white film class with nothing more than a few rolls of film and a twenty year old Olympus camera.

Fast forward a bit and I'm still doing what I love. Yes, the equipment has changed a bit, but the passion and drive is still there! I love to create and capture memories for my clients as well as those for my family.

I'm lucky enough to get to be a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to four awesome kids.
