3 years {Northern Michigan Child Photographer}

Sometimes three year olds are tricky. They are really good at reading people too. I love photographing this little guy because you never know what to expect! :) He’s grown up a lot since I saw him last year, and  is definitely ALL boy! I was introduced to many scary creatures, at least for the big sissy girl that I am…hehe. I got to meet some scary, biting dinosaurs, bugs and a snake! (I HATE snakes!!) Ben took care of me though… made sure those creepy crawlies didn’t get me!!
It was a lot of fun Mom! I’ll see you guys again soon! :)

18 months {Northern Michigan Toddler Photographer}

I still cannot believe that little miss Sophie is 18 months old! It feels like just yesterday I took her six month photos! I’m sure it seems the time has gone faster to Mommy & Daddy! :) We had a busy afternoon and although Sophie got a little tired towards the end, she faired pretty well and gave us some great laughs and even allowed me to capture her beautiful little smile once or twice!

About Me

Growing up I had a great appreciation for photos. My Dad never went anywhere without his camera. Proof of this are the five "baby" albums filled to the brim with snapshots, studio shots and beautiful black and whites, that he developed in his own personal darkroom... located in our basement.

When I started college I knew that I had to take a photography class. I started my own journey into photography in my black and white film class with nothing more than a few rolls of film and a twenty year old Olympus camera.

Fast forward a bit and I'm still doing what I love. Yes, the equipment has changed a bit, but the passion and drive is still there! I love to create and capture memories for my clients as well as those for my family.

I'm lucky enough to get to be a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to three awesome kids.
