Summer is here…

We’ve had a busy summer so far! I’ve been neglecting my poor blog, so to make up for it, here is a little gallery of my monkeys +1, oh, and our new puppy, Pippa! Enjoy! :)

How can it be? Why do they have to grow? I still can’t believe little Addie Pie is ONE! It seems like only yesterday I was taking her newborn pictures… time sure flies! Happy Birthday Addie girl! We love you! :)

And just to compare… an image from her newborn session. :)

I can’t believe that this little doll is already 10 months old! I’ve been photographing her almost monthly since she was a newborn! It’s so fun watching her grow up and if you can believe it, she’s already walking! AHH! Her mama is gonna have her hands full as she keeps growing up. :)

Enjoy a few images of sweet little Addie! :)

A year in review…{Northern Michigan Portrait Photographer}

Well, I suppose this should be titled “half a year in review…”. The last time I updated this blog with a picture post was way back in July! Nuts! I’m determined to do better this coming year, so we’ll start with my final blog post of 2010. :) Here are some client images from the last 6 months to look at. I hope everyone has a great holiday and a happy 2011! Thanks for being such awesome clients! :)

Holiday Mini Special {Northern Michigan Portrait Photographer} Image

Holiday Mini Special {Northern Michigan Portrait Photographer}

It’s getting to be that time of year again…. Christmas is coming! :)

The first weekend in December our little town holds it’s annual “Christmas in the Village” . This event is a lot of fun (and a usually pretty cold too!) and gives the community the opportunity to visit the local shops and businesses and to see what local craftsmen and women are keeping busy with during the year. This year, I have the opportunity to offer a special Holiday Mini Session at Bloomer’s Flower Shop right downtown! Come out and see me, and have a quick holiday portrait taken of your child(ren) or family! For this event only, sessions are complimentary and special, promotional pricing will apply. There will be 4 pre-set collections to choose from, ranging in price from $25-$55 each and also some a la carte options. Also, anyone who books a regular portrait session will receive a coupon for a $100 print credit and $50 off of your session fee!  (only applies on newly booked, regular  sessions. Mini session bookings and newborn sessions are excluded. Session fee payment of $150 will be due at the time of booking.)

So come on out and enjoy the day! Don’t forget to stop in at Bloomer’s and see me! I look forward to seeing everyone there and getting to meet some new faces!

Walk-in’s welcome, limited appointments available. Email Danielle : info@albertjosephphotography.com with any questions.

I will be available for portraits December 4, 2010 from 9am-5pm (or later, depending on demand…) at Bloomer’s Flower Shop in Roscommon.

Meet Miss Sweet and Mister Adorable. :) These two siblings came out to a recent mini-session shoot that we had and it was such a pleasure photographing them. They were great little listeners and very patient while we waited out the rain! Thanks so much for bringing them by Mom! I had fun and can’t wait to see you all again!

Day 4. {Northern Michigan Newborn Photographer}

This one is special to Daddy… his little Marine -in- training. :D Oohrah!

Meet 4 day old (or young!) Grant. He was quite the little monkey for the first hour or so of his session, but after some gentle coaxing (and lots of feeding and shushing!) he tuckered right out for us. It was a lot of fun meeting your sweet little family! Enjoy your images and we’ll talk soon!! :D

I still cannot believe that little miss Sophie is 18 months old! It feels like just yesterday I took her six month photos! I’m sure it seems the time has gone faster to Mommy & Daddy! :) We had a busy afternoon and although Sophie got a little tired towards the end, she faired pretty well and gave us some great laughs and even allowed me to capture her beautiful little smile once or twice!

So, here are a few for a sneak peek Mom, Dad (and Aunt Lindee!! :) ) Enjoy and I’ll talk to you soon!

About Me

Growing up I had a great appreciation for photos. My Dad never went anywhere without his camera. Proof of this are the five "baby" albums filled to the brim with snapshots, studio shots and beautiful black and whites, that he developed in his own personal darkroom... located in our basement.

When I started college I knew that I had to take a photography class. I started my own journey into photography in my black and white film class with nothing more than a few rolls of film and a twenty year old Olympus camera.

Fast forward a bit and I'm still doing what I love. Yes, the equipment has changed a bit, but the passion and drive is still there! I love to create and capture memories for my clients as well as those for my family.

I'm lucky enough to get to be a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to three awesome kids.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to get to know me and for allowing me to help make your families memories last a lifetime!
